About DoWeDontWeIndependent software studio · United Kingdom
Software for ordinary life.
We build calm, useful software that helps people organise, decide and make things together — without the attention traps.
What we believe
Much of today's technology is designed to hold attention. We'd rather make tools that help people get on with their lives — and then get out of the way.
Calm by default
No manufactured urgency, addictive loops or manipulative notifications.
Participation over consumption
Software for making, organising and deciding together — not endless scrolling.
Respect for autonomy
People should think for themselves and decide for themselves, without hidden nudges.
Real life comes first
Our apps should fit into your life, not try to become the centre of it.
Understandable, not opaque
Clear about what our software does and how it handles your data.
Long-term trust
Usefulness and credibility over growth tricks and short-term engagement.
